Why didn’t anyone mention it was so small? Just like the Sphynx, a big reputation for something so teeny in physical stature.

It’s a very well painted portrait, of course, ‘Go, Da Vinci!’, but do I feel enlightened or more worldly for seeing it? Not really.

For me, being in The Louvre was an inspiring experience in itself. A magnificent building with lots of beautiful creations. I would highly recommend it even for the non-art lovers, there’s something for everyone to look at and enjoy.

Whilst you’re in Paris, take a look at the Rodin museum. It has lots of interesting sculptures dotted everywhere, and, if for nothing else, there is a lovely garden to take a stroll in too.
